Thule

Two of Hearts

Breed:  Australian Cattle Dog

First Flyball Title: 2014

Handler: Carey Goodwin

Bio:

Thule has been playing flyball since her debut at Dogtoberfest in 2014. She’s not the fastest dog, with her signature stutter steps, but she knows her job and loves to do it! She is sweet and snarky and a reliable anchor dog for whichever team she is running on.

Zak

Titles:  TFFC, FM

Breed: Border Collie

First Flyball Title: 2011

Handler: Lyn Sandkaut

Bio:

I found Zak online in August 2008 where he was with a rescue group in Lake County, California.  He was just four months old and he captured my heart.  I drove from San Diego to San Francisco to pick him up, returning to San Diego the same day, and he was worth every exhausting mile!  Zak is a good-natured boy who loves to chase anything we throw for him, whether it’s tennis balls, stuffed toys, sticks or pinecones.  Not only does he bring it back so we can throw it again, but he actually tosses it to us.  He loves the beach and hiking and is always ready for fun.  Zak tends to goof off at flyball practice, but he loves running in tournaments!

Zoe

Titles:  TFP-I, FDCh-S

Breed:  Border Collie

First Flyball Title: 2016

Handler: Lyn Sandkaut

Bio:

We adopted ten-month old Zoe in March 2015 from Arizona Border Collie Rescue.  Zoe is a girl on the go and loves everyone and is curious about everything.  She is totally obsessed with the tennis ball to the point where we have to hide them – she would rather have a tennis ball than food – and food is right up there with her favorite things!  Zoe loves to be where the action is and she’s crazy about flyball and her big brother Zak.
